What is the difference between counselling and coaching?
Coaching is future-focused. It helps you set goals, make action plans, and stay accountable as you move towards the life you want. It’s ideal when you’re ready to grow, make changes, or navigate transitions with clarity and structure.
Counselling, on the other hand, explores your present and your past. It focuses on creating the inner conditions that make your goals clear and achievable. By working through emotional blocks and unhelpful patterns, it supports deeper self-understanding and lasting change.

What is my speciality?
I work as a counsellor using a humanistic, relational, and integrative approach. I support people who are facing changes, transitions, or personal challenges — but I also work with those who are simply curious, who feel the desire to explore themselves more deeply, even if they are not in a crisis. After years of living abroad, I know firsthand what it means to move to a new country: adapting to new habits, rhythms, languages, and relationships. That’s why I mainly support expats — both Italian and international — who are navigating the complexity of cultural and personal transformation.
My approach?
In our (online) sessions, we work with visual input to truly see where you are in life right now. From there, we begin to shape a new image together: one where every part of your life finds its proper place, creating a more balanced and authentic version of your everyday experience. A core part of my work is focused on values. When we live abroad, the values of our home country — those that shaped us, inspired us, or perhaps restricted us — tend to emerge strongly. They often guide our decisions unconsciously, but they may not reflect who we truly are today.
We will explore what truly matters to you — not what you think should be important, but what really is. This process helps you reconnect with your inner compass and make decisions that reflect who you are, not who you are expected to be.
I work with adults and young adults who want to:
● Regain balance after a big change or move
● Manage stress, anxiety, or emotional confusion
● Reconnect with their inner roots, even far from home
● Rediscover motivation, meaning, and direction
● Live more intentionally, with clarity and alignment
Counselling for Expatriates
Living abroad can be enriching, but also deeply challenging. You may feel suspended between two worlds, with no clear sense of belonging. The emotional distance from loved ones, language barriers, or new social and work dynamics can lead to confusion, loneliness, or a sense of loss. My sessions are designed for those seeking clarity, change, or a fresh perspective whether you’re navigating a personal or cultural transition, recovering from a challenging experience, or simply longing to live more fully and consciously.
My work with expats focuses on:
- Identity and transition processes
- Emotional regulation during cultural adjustment
- Creating new meaning, grounding and connections
- Rediscovering your authentic values and inner direction
