However, we often discuss first whether this is really necessary. Just like with a real gastric band, the consequences are quite drastic. If you still choose to go ahead with it, four sessions are required, with the gastric band being placed during the second session. The entire treatment takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Due to the intensive treatment, there is a high chance of a permanent result.<\/p>\n<p>The effect is similar to that of placing a \u201creal\u201d gastric band. The first session consists of a pre-operative examination, followed by the placement of the gastric band in session 2. This is adjusted in session 3, and in the final session, the effects are deeply anchored in the subconscious. There is a minimum of two weeks between each session. This programme therefore has similar rules regarding the amount and type of food and exercise as a real operation.
