How exactly does regression work?
By this we mean going back in time by using all the information stored in our brains, especially in our subconscious. Because consciousness is reduced during hypnosis, the critical thinking brain is in the background, leaving more room for your subconscious thoughts. In light hypnosis, all kinds of images and feelings from the past can be uncovered.
For regression, we want to achieve a deeper trance, for which we use various “induction” techniques. In deep hypnosis, memories can go back to childhood and sometimes even to the womb, and for those who believe in reincarnation, you can indeed go further back to previous lives.
Sometimes we also get questions about “recreational regression”, in other words, simply seeing who or what you were in previous lives for fun. That is also possible. We take plenty of time to bring you into a state of deep relaxation and then “see” what comes to the surface.

Healing old pain
Once insight has been gained into the cause of the current problem, “healing’ can take place. Sometimes, seeing things through today's eyes is enough to make the undesirable effect disappear. In other cases, more work is needed, but that can also be done directly in the session with me. Because the issues being worked on have often been with you for a long time, the session can evoke intense (often liberating) emotions. In principle, a single session is enough to set a lot in motion.
Do I need to believe in hypnosis to be able to undergo regression?
That is not necessary, and you are certainly allowed to be critical beforehand. To experience good hypnosis, an open and curious attitude is most effective.
