What is a medium?
There are often many different words that are used interchangeably, such as medium, psychic, clairvoyant, etc. For me, these words are not that important. Every medium has his or her own “tools”. For me, that is mainly clear sensing. I also organise group meetings and particularly enjoy working with objects, photographs, but most of all with flowers.
Medium as a gateway to another world
In my development as a medium, I have been able to experience how special it is to receive information from those who have passed away. All the wisdom and life experience they have gained and continue to gain on the other side is a tremendous source of inspiration for those who are shaping their existence here on earth. How wonderful it is to receive a pat on the back, a comforting word, a thank you or advice from those who are no longer here in “living bodies”. As a medium, I have also been able to bring comfort and acceptance to terminally ill people and their loved ones. Before and after death.
So what is a reading from a medium?
During a reading, I use my guide to connect with loved ones who have passed away and with other souls who present themselves. This can be done using a photograph, an object, or through spontaneous observations. A personal reading can be conducted by post, email, or in person. I prefer the latter because it gives you the opportunity to ask questions and we can have a real conversation. I can also give you tips and advice on how to best deal with the information you receive.
A strange energy in the house?
Sometimes people experience “entities” or “energies” (there are various terms for this) in their own homes. I am regularly asked to visit locations to sense what is present and to “clean” the space. Do you feel that something unusual is going on? Just email or call me for free advice.
Psychic evening
The evenings where I give readings for groups using photographs, objects, spontaneous observations, flowers, bee drawings, mandalas, etc., are often held on location. These could be in a living room, a community centre or at clubs.

Who I am as a medium
My interest in the spiritual world began during adolescence. At that time, I often knew things in advance or had impressions/experiences with people, which often turned out to be accurate. My concrete introduction to this subject came through an encounter my parents had with Do Lemette on holiday; through that encounter, I ended up at GRS (Group of Religious Spiritualists) in Amsterdam, where I was able to take my first steps in my development as a medium. Later, in my work as a palliative care nurse, I came into contact with the “end of life” many times and was able to offer comfort to many people.
My interest in NLP was sparked when Ben took his training courses at Vidarte in Den Bosch. He underwent such wonderful personal development; I wanted that too! No sooner said than done, and in 2013 I completed my master's degree there and have since even completed the training to become an internationally recognised NLP trainer. More recently, I completed the higher professional education programme to become a certified Energy Therapist.
